What can you do to limit your liability if a project youve worked becomes involved in a litigation frenzy involving mold-related claims? While there are no easy answers, some basic strategies before you begin working on a project can strengthen your defenses by protecting your personal assets, shifting responsibility for injury or loss to others, disclaiming liability, securing appropriate insurance, establishing a documentation program that helps rather than hurts your case, or even walking away from a project thats too risky.
