The Upper Occoquan Sewage Authority (UOSA) has had an asset register ofindividual equipment since its treatment plant was commissioned in 1978. Thisregister is now used in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systemsoftware, J.D. Edwards, which is capable of much more than just handling workorders and preventive maintenance. J.D. Edwards is also used by the FinanceDepartment to process financial data and produce financial statements includingfuture cash flow projections.
